THROUGH THE SEASONS by PCE

THROUGH THE SEASONS

You've been my friend now awhile
We met two years ago
I can't remember who found who
It doesn't matter though

I was new to the world wide web
I was lost most of the time
You helped me learn to navigate
And never seemed to mind

We've stayed friends through thick and thin
Through all the good and bad
Our days weren't always filled with cheer
Sometimes they were real sad

You saw me through my surgeries
The four I've had to date
I saw you through your days of pain
And when you met your mate

I'm trying to recall your words
You told me things went well
That she was all you hoped she'd be
And that she sure was swell

Look how things have come to be
You're both together now
She made the trip to be with you
And left her home somehow

I'm happy for the both of you
You deserved some happiness
You found it in each other
And love has stood the test

Now we don't live that far away
And yet we haven't met
Soon I'll make the trip up north
The date we need to set

Well, my friend, I have to go
But not without this promise
That I will always be right here
To talk to you here; like this

And through the thick and thin of it
Through seasons we're still here
To cherish this fine friendship
That has become so dear

Thanks, Kane, for your friendship...
My best to you always..
