LOST LOVE

You were searching for me
and by fate I found you....
We first became friends
and then our love grew...

We shared our feelings,
our hopes and desires,
we needed each other
to keep alive the fires.....

Now the light shines dim
on what was so grand
we don't even speak;
not a letter we share.....

How can this happen
two souls so close
waiting to be together
someday, somewhere...
