The World We Share

As we lay by the ocean,
the sun shining brightly and bold
Fire orange rays gleaming off the ocean,
what a sight to behold

The trees, the wild flowers, every rock,
gleaming with morning dew
The sounds we hear, music to our souls, me and you

Our world which surrounds us fills us with awe
Every mountain, every tree, every wild flower,
each ocean wave Separate, but as one,
like the people we meet
Each individual different, new, unique, but all as one.

As with the world we live in,
a lesson we learn from all things
Every person we meet, they too are our teachers,
listen well From sunrise to sunset, take nothing for granted
For each path we take is to be shared with joy by all life.
