Journey of Love
We've spent each lifetime searching
faces
Looking deeply into the eyes we
behold
For they are the windows of the
soul
Searching for what seems in vain we cry
out,
"But must we endure the pain?"
The deception and trickery from other
souls
And our hearts knowing, hurting from the
loss
We pray for guidance, but do we hear the
answer?
Listen carefully...it's always been
there
For your search has not been in
vain
Signs all through our path, subtle
hints
As our path forks we're given a
choice
Wrong choice taken...we endure the trek
back
The thirst for that love unquenchable till
found
The love of lifetimes worth it, the
longing
For our soul's true love is
there...
Waiting amongst the floating
clouds....
The shining stars.....
Each ocean wave.....
Obstacles on our path a lesson
learned
Each person we met a part of the soul we long
for
Awakening memories of that love of
lifetimes
A glimmer, a flash...could it
be?
Alas as fate would allow it our souls
touch
Recognition...we've made the
journey..
We've met again....our thirst
quenched.
